My practice is dedicated to helping families through the difficult transitions that are inherent in divorce through the respectful, solution-based Collaborative process. I assist my client in identifying and attaining goals that are future-focused and child friendly. Collaborative Practice allows clients to retain control over their lives while helping the family develop mutually agreeable resolutions to those issues of most importance to them.

I am the Founding and Past-President of the Maryland Collaborative Practice Council, a state-wide organization designed to promote Collaborative Practice to professionals and the public. I also am the Founding and Past-President of the Collaborative Divorce Association, a dynamic Collaborative Practice group in Montgomery County, Maryland. I am proud to say that in 2007, 2008 and 2009, I was named in Washingtonian Magazine as a Top Divorce Lawyer in the Washington D.C. area; in 2008, 2009 and 2010 I was named a Best Lawyer in America, and in 2008, 2009, and 2010 a Super Lawyer for my efforts in Collaborative Practice. In 2009 and 2010, I made the list of the top 25 women in Maryland in Super Lawyers.  I truly believe these honors were bestowed as a direct result of my dedication to Collaborative Practice.
