Hadrian N. Hatfield, with Shulman, Rogers, Gandal, Pordy & Ecker, P.A., concentrates in family law litigation and divorce mediation. As part of his practice, Mr. Hatfield also focuses on international divorce issues. He was admitted to practice law in the District of Columbia in 1985, the U.S. District Court for D.C. in 1990, and in Maryland in 1991. Mr. Hatfield is a member of the American Bar Association, Family Law Section, Alternative Dispute Resolution Section, and International Law Section; Maryland State Bar Association (Family Law Section Council 2002 - 2005 and 2009 - present); Montgomery County Bar Association, Family Law Section (Co-Chair 2001-2002); and District of Columbia Bar, Family Law Section and International Law Section. He has produced and presented CLE programs for the ABA and various bar associations in Maryland and D.C. on divorce, mediation, and family law issues, and has written articles for publication on a variety of family law topics, including international aspects of divorce. Mr. Hatfield received a B.A. in Political Science with honors from the University of Central Arkansas and a J.D. from Vanderbilt School of Law. He studied international law at the Faculté de Droit in Nice, France, on a Rotary International Scholarship. He is fluent in French.
