For more than 20 years, Jim's legal career has focused on family law. He is a partner in the law firm of Clifford, Debelius, Crawford, Bonifant & Fitzpatrck, Chtd. located in Gaithersburg, Maryland. A graduate of the University of Virginia (B.A. with distinction, 1978), Jim received his law degree from the University of Maryland School of Law in 1982. He is a member of the Montgomery County Bar Association Family Law Section and the Maryland State Bar Association. Since 1996, Jim has been a member of the Board of Directors of Montgomery General Hospital in Olney, Maryland and currently serves as its Chairman. He also served on the Board of Directors for Asbury Methodist Village from 1995 to 1999 and Argyle Land Co., Inc. from 1990 to 1992 (President, 1992).
