Stephanie L. Fink is a partner in the law firm of Fierst & Fink, P.C. Her firm handles family law, elder law, probate, and estates and trusts matters. Stephanie has a B.A. with honors from the University of Maryland, an M.Ed. in counseling from Xavier University, and a J.D. from the University of Maryland School of Law, where she was a member of the Moot Court Board, Chairperson of the First Year Moot Court Program, and a member of the Maryland Journal of International Law and Trade. Stephanie has practiced in Maryland since 1995 and was admitted in the District of Columbia since 1996. She concentrates primarily on family law, and she is frequently appointed by the Circuit Court for Montgomery County to represent children as guardian ad litem. She also practices guardianship law, and is knowledgeable about issues affecting adults and children with disabilities and the elderly. Stephanie has given presentations to the Montgomery County Family Law Section about the role of the guardian ad litem and about guardianships for minor children and disabled adults. She has also taught a seminar on divorce and separation issues for the Montgomery County Commission for Women. Stephanie is a member of the following professional organizations: the Maryland State Bar Association; the Bar Association of Montgomery County; the Women's Bar Association of Maryland; the Montgomery County Chapter of the Women's Bar Association, for which she was formerly secretary of the executive committee; the Montgomery County Chapter of the American Inns of Court, for which she currently serves as a member of the executive committee; and the Simon Sobeloff Law Society.
